Retro Vita — Refund and Return Policy

We want every customer to be satisfied with their order. As we specialize in refurbished retro consoles—many of which are over a decade old—minor cosmetic imperfections due to age are normal and expected, even after careful restoration.

As long as the device is fully functional, such cosmetic wear does not constitute a valid reason for a return or refund, which are only accepted under the specific circumstances outlined below.

 


Order cancellations

While we always try our best to cancel orders when requested, cancellations for reasons such as a change of mind are only possible within 24 hours of placing the order. After that time, your package is typically already shipped and out of our hands, so we’re unable to retrieve or cancel it.


Refunds, credits, and replacements

Refunds or replacements are only issued if the order arrives damaged, has a clear functionality issue, or fails to power on or charge. A PSP not reading game discs is not considered a defect, as the device has been modified to play games exclusively from the memory card.

If your situation falls under one of these cases, please contact our support team with clear photo or video proof so we can review the issue. In such cases, we may ask you to return the product for inspection. Once the item is received by us, we will either provide a free replacement or issue a refund, depending on preference and stock availability.


When returns are accepted

You may request a return within 15 days of receiving your order only in the following cases:

  • You received the wrong item.

  • The device has a functional defect.

  • The console will not charge.

Important: Each console is delivered with a custom modded setup. Updating or modifying the software in any way voids that setup and automatically disqualifies the device from being returned. If this happens, we can still help you reinstall the mod remotely — but the order will no longer qualify for a return.


How to start a return

  • If you experience any issues with your order, please contact our support team first with your order number, a clear explanation of the issue, and clear photo or video evidence. Once we review and approve your request, we will provide you with the next steps for returning the item.

  • Please ensure the console is securely repackaged using the original box (or equivalent protective packaging). The return must include all original contents (console, accessories, cables, manuals, memory cards, etc.).

  • Inside the package, please include a paper clearly stating your order number and full name, so we can properly identify your return once it arrives at our facility.

  • Once we receive your item, it will undergo inspection. After inspection and confirmation that all return conditions are met, we will issue the full refund for your order.
